Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Arirang Bay Resort. To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and hassle-free experience for all our guests, please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.
1. Reservation & Payment
- Discounted, promotional, and special offer rates require full payment to confirm the reservation.
- Regular rate reservations require a 50% down payment to secure the booking.
- The remaining balance for regular rate reservations must be settled upon check-in unless otherwise advised by the resort.
- Reservations are considered confirmed only after payment has been received and verified.
- Failure to complete the required payment within the specified period may result in automatic cancellation of the reservation.
- Room rates are subject to change without prior notice until the reservation has been confirmed.
2. Check-in & Check-out
Check-in: 2:00 PM
Check-out: 12:00 PM
Early Check-in
- ₱250 per room per hour
- Subject to room availability
Late Check-in
Guests arriving after 10:00 PM are requested to inform the resort in advance. Additional charges may apply.
Late Check-out
Late check-out is subject to availability and corresponding fees:
- 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: ₱200
- 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM: ₱250 per hour
- 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: 30% of the room rate
- After 5:00 PM: 100% of the room rate
3. Cancellation & Rebooking
- All payments are strictly non-refundable.
- Cancellation is not permitted once payment has been made.
- Rebooking requests are subject to room availability and management approval.
- Rebooked reservations will follow the prevailing room rate on the new selected date if applicable.
Rebooking Fees
- More than 21 days before arrival: 30% rebooking fee
- 14–21 days before arrival: 30% rebooking fee
- Less than 14 days before arrival: 40% rebooking fee
- Less than 7 days before arrival: 50% rebooking fee
- Same-day cancellation or No-show: Booking is forfeited
4. Rainy Season Policy
Guest safety is our highest priority.
In the event of heavy rainfall, a typhoon, flooding, or official travel restrictions, guests with confirmed reservations may qualify for FREE REBOOKING, subject to the following conditions:
- The weather condition must be severe enough to affect travel, as determined by management and/or supported by official advisories from PAGASA, the Philippine Coast Guard, or the relevant Local Government Unit (LGU).
- Guests must notify the resort before their scheduled check-in date.
- Rebooking is subject to room availability.
- Free rebooking is valid only for the original reservation and cannot be exchanged for a refund or cash credit.
- The resort reserves the right to evaluate and approve requests based on the prevailing weather conditions.
5. Arrival Requirements
- Guests must present at least one (1) valid government-issued ID upon check-in.
- Guests arriving after 6:00 PM are encouraged to notify the resort in advance.
Security Deposit
A ₱500 security deposit per person will be collected upon check-in.
The deposit will be refunded upon check-out after:
- Return of room keys
- Return of borrowed utensils or equipment
- Room inspection confirming no damages or missing items
6. Guest Policy
- Only registered guests are allowed inside the resort.
- Visitors must obtain prior approval from management and may be subject to additional charges.
- Guests are expected to respect fellow guests, resort staff, and resort property.
- Any disorderly, offensive, or unlawful behavior may result in removal from the premises without refund.
7. Children Policy
- Children and infants must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Children below 7 years old may stay free when using existing beds, subject to the room's maximum occupancy.
- Extra Person Fee: ₱350 per person per night
8. Pet Policy
- Pets are welcome only in designated accommodations.
- Dogs weighing up to 25 kg are allowed.
- Pets are permitted in outdoor areas only.
- Pet owners are fully responsible for their pet's behavior, cleanliness, and any damages caused.
- Applicable pet fees may apply.
9. Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside guest rooms.
Guests found violating this policy will be charged a ₱5,000 cleaning and deodorizing fee.
Please use designated smoking areas.
10. Quiet Hours
To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests:
Quiet Hours begin at 12:00 AM.
Please minimize loud conversations, music, karaoke, and speakers after this time.
11. Food & Corkage
- Outside food and beverages are allowed, subject to the resort's corkage policy.
- Corkage fees may apply where applicable.
12. Housekeeping & CLAYGO
Guests are encouraged to observe our CLAYGO (Clean As You Go) policy.
A ₱500 cleaning fee per room may be charged if the room is left excessively dirty or if the CLAYGO policy is not observed.
13. Damages & Lost Items
Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or missing resort property caused during their stay.
Charges for damaged or missing items may be up to 120% of the replacement cost.
14. Resort Facilities & Activities
Guests use all resort facilities, swimming pools, recreational equipment, and beach areas at their own risk.
Certain activities may be unavailable due to:
- Weather conditions
- Maintenance
- Safety concerns
- Operational requirements
15. Island Hopping & Outdoor Activities
Island hopping and other outdoor activities are dependent on weather conditions and Coast Guard clearance.
The resort reserves the right to cancel or postpone activities for the safety of all guests.
16. Parking
Parking is available outside the resort on a first-come, first-served basis.
Arirang Bay Resort shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal belongings left inside vehicles.
17. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.
The resort shall not be held liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
18. Additional Charges
Electric Appliances
- ₱300 per unit per day
Stove Rental
- ₱350–₱1,000 depending on the unit
Other applicable fees may apply for additional services requested during your stay.
19. Force Majeure
Arirang Bay Resort shall not be held liable for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Typhoons
- Floods
- Earthquakes
- Power interruptions
- Pandemics
- Government restrictions
- Other unforeseen events
20. Right to Refuse Service
The resort reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any guest whose behavior:
- Violates resort policies
- Endangers the safety of others
- Causes disturbances
- Damages resort property
- Engages in illegal activities
Such actions may be taken without refund.
21. Privacy Policy
Guest information collected during the reservation process will be used solely for booking, operational, and communication purposes and will be handled in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
22. Agreement
By confirming a reservation, making payment, or checking in at Arirang Bay Resort, the guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, Resort Policies, and all applicable fees.
